i dont usually do hair tutorials or posts, cos i am a sucker when it comes to hair, or maybe because i dont really care about my hair style haha. but i thought maybe this could make do as a post on my beauty blog, since beauty isnt all about makeup right..? :) i have ALOT of hair, and i get that from EVERY hair salon that ive been to in my life! anyways, i took about... 1.5 - 2 hours curling it... very tiring i must say. i also added the lauren conrad braids to both sides of my head/hair! HAHAHA spastic smile, but because this is the only picture in which you can see the WHOLE hair! after that, i went out with my friend with this, and it lasted pretty okay.. i didnt hairspray my hair btw. but along the way some of it lost its curls!
man, my face is breaking out like mad now! i feel so embarrassed to step out of the house. stupid hormones :\
since i dont have any tutorials or practically anything to blog about since i came back from my hiatus, i was ransacking my computer and i found that i had pictures from my first lush haul!... from... v v long ago. i am not sure. my dad went to HK, and i seized that opportunity to try LUSH :) What i got: Happy traveller kit thingy(its like mini bottles of various lush items)
these are the products in the "kit", i took two other separate photos as you can see above, so then you can tell what it is! and... SNOW FAIRY and if you dont shake this, look below, its a WHOLE CHUNK LOAD OF GLITTER! but to be honest, the smell of snow fairy is too strong for me. then.. the mask of magnamity! MY GOSHH, first thing i did when i opened this, was to smell it AND OMG sorry but it stinks! it smells like, ginko.. gone wrong. but i think it does a pretty decent job as a mask! my face feels v v refreshed after usage! just the smell... and then i got the soaps! Porridge Soap and Honey I Washed The Kids i wouldnt say the texture is rough, even though it looks rough side of honey i washed the kids :) DID I MENTION HONEY I WASHED THE KIDS SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN. i hate drinking honey but this is just... different. i just find it hard to maintain the soaps thats all. i put it in my freezer ^^

So i started this series, to help people with monolids, different eyelids, to make up. To pick up those brushes or applicators to start off with and become beautiful. I know sometimes it's hard to apply makeup on monolids, or if you have a monolid, and a double eyelid (like me myself). I hope with this series i can at least help 1 person to realize she can be beautiful even with these unique features[Not that's yours isnt, i know it is ;)]
When you have different eyelids like me, you should avoid putting eyeliner at the top eyelid, because that will not show on your monolid, only your double lid, so that's gonna be weird. THE candid shot haha i was deciding how i was going to smile. No, im not lying! :)

The trick to solve uneven eyelids, is to really, just bring the shadows up higher, so then they can be seen. Also, avoid eyeliner and mascara if you have these eyelids, because they will aggrevate the difference. I'm starting a series to help other people out there with one problem : Uneven Eyelids, Monolids. One common problem with these people is that when they put eyeliner on both lids, only one side(the side which is not a monolid) can be seen. It happens to me. In this first episode, it is neutral eyes with a POP of green underneath. Definitely wearable, and it will not draw much attention to the eyelids, although it will to the eye, but not to worry, because the green eyeliner is going to take them awayyy! So previously i posted about what i wanted from the To The Beach collection. In the end, i only got 2 items because i realized i didn't bring enough cash when i got there. Pathetic, i know! So i only got two items, and if i do go back, i think i'll just get the bronzer, or 131 brush!
First up, i got the Glaze Lipstick in Beachbound! LOVE the design of the this. It's crazyy and i love the beach- seashells on a lipstick?!?! - ♥ Swatches: WITH FLASH NO FLASH CAN I SAY THIS LIPPY IS FREAKING SHEER! Yeah it is! But its sooo natural if you were it alone on your bare lips, (not that it will not look natural if you wear a lip liner underneath), but then when the sunlight hits and then people around you will be taken ABACK by those gold shimmers and then they'll go up to you and ask for you number... Kidding. Haha, but you get howww pretty this thing is! Below are some swatches on my lip itself, and oh boy, you can hardly tell any difference unless you look carefully! Bare lips With Beachbound on, no flash And then my desperate attempts to capture the golden shimmers:
Ok, thats totally enough haha. Next up, Rosemary & Thyme Eye Kohl! I.love.mac.eye.kohls.forever.and.ever. I will definitely do an EOTD with this one here, maybe somewhere this month! :)
Last but not least, i got the Korres Lip Butter, that was going on for 12.90(?) instead of the usual pricing of 21. I got mine in Quince, which is the popular shade, i believe. I love the packaging of this, i like the font they use too, it makes it look very modernized:) Swatches: Bare lips With Quince There isnt much of a difference right? But thats what i like about it:) A lipbalm that works, and is really natural so i can wear it basically anywhere!
